Metal Sculptures

These are my personal sculptural works. I began this series while researching ancient hieroglyphs and other symbolic systems. I wanted to imagine what a new visual language might look like today, one that belongs to our current moment. Instead of writing with words, I created the work with symbols and patterns drawn from the industries that structure modern life, such as mining and medicine, translating them into three-dimensional forms.

Part of my process involves casting what feels soft, alive, or temporary into rigid metal structures. I embed minerals, herbs, and organic matter into engraved channels, like nutrients moving through a body. The results are objects that exist somewhere between hieroglyphs and futuristic diagrams, pieces that invite viewers to decode and interpret their own meaning.
